Hotchya Marine Design was awarded the Gold medal
The company Hotchya Marine Design was awarded the Gold medal and Diploma following the results of the contest Best Solutions in the Sphere of Shipbuilding and Civil Marine Equipment. This contest was held within the framework of the International Forum Marine Industry of Russia.
A design project of supply vessel to support operations of self-elevating floating drilling rig (SEFDR) Arkticheskaya was awarded the Gold medal and Diploma of the International Forum Marine Industry of Russia-2012 in the following nomination Technologies for Advanced Marine Equipment and Systems. The contest commission chaired by the Executive secretary of the Marine Board attached to the Government of the Russian Federation A. L. Belyberdin and the Director of the Department of Shipbuilding Industry and Marine Equipment and Systems attached to the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation L. V. Strugov made this decision.
As explained by the contest commission members the competent expert jury highly estimated the uniqueness, novelty and economic efficiency of this project. According to experts’ opinion the SEFDR supply vessel is already in high demand to carry out natural resource development operations at sea oil-and-gas bearing basins, for example, such as the Arctic shelf deposits.
The International Forum Marine Industry of Russia was held pursuant to the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation under the auspices and with the participation of the Committee for National Marine Policy attached to the Federation Council, the Marine Board attached to the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transportation of the Russian Federation, SC Rostechnologies, the leading industry associations, unions and shipbuilding companies. Within the framework of this forum an open dialog took place among representatives of the industry, government agencies and business. State support issues for shipbuilding industry and stimulation of innovative projects, special credit and leasing programs, assistance in upgrading and reconstructing of production enterprises etc., were discussed.
