Design of multipurpose tug and fire fighting boat completed

Hotchya Marine Design has completed the engineering of a multipurpose tug and fire fighting boat, project 3612.

Project 3612 involved the design and manufacture of a vessel with the following dimensions: length 38.8 m, width 11.3 m, and draft 5 m. Maximum speed (under design draft) will amount to 13.5 knots.

The vessel has been designed to provide technical support and assistance in areas that are dangerous to navigate, to maintain transport operations in ports, to tug marine vessels and other installations, to assist in fighting fires on ships or offshore and onshore facilities with a maritime approach, including the provision of underwater engineering operations for divers, extinguishing burning fuel on water, elimination of oil spills.

Great experience in developing the full range of engineering design documentation allows for a wide range of design work: from large projects for a series of ships to the documentation release for individual units selected by the customer and required for navigation.

The company Hotchya Marine Design was awarded the Gold medal and Diploma following the results of the contest Best Solutions in the Sphere of Shipbuilding and Civil Marine Equipment. This contest was held within the framework of the International Forum Marine Industry of Russia.
