Design of large freezer trawler

Hotchya Marine Design has completed the engineering of large freezer trawler (project HS115T).

The freezer trawler is a 115 m long vessel, with a width of 21 m, and the draft of 8 m. Full displacement is 12,300 tons. Speed is up to 17 knots, in economy mode up to 12 knots. Cruising range – 9000 miles, cruising capacity – 30 days. Crew – 30 people.

The vessel has been designed for fishery using bottom and pelagic trawls, processing and freezing, storing and transporting product to a port, producing fishmeal from fish process waste. It is possible to transfer products to cargo refrigerators, receiving fuel, supplies and equipment at sea.
